About your team
The Digital Transformation (DT) team bridges the gap between IT and business, providing tailored solutions to our user organization. A key component of our application landscape is the Microsoft 365 modern workplace. To elevate application usage, Certis Belchim has launched a strategic program aimed at maximizing these tools’ potential. The Application Training and Adoption Officer is crucial in this initiative. You design and deliver training programs, maintain close contact with user representatives, and stay updated on the latest workplace developments to seamlessly integrate these advancements into daily operations.
Our Digital Transformation team comprises approximately 20 skilled and enthusiastic professionals, driving the company’s digital transformation in areas such as Data Intelligence, key application management, Apps, and AI applications. Together, we are shaping the future of our workplace with innovative and effective solutions.
About your role
Your role is unique in its broad scope and direct impact on enhancing the organisation’s use of Microsoft 365 and other key applications. You’ll be responsible for advancing digital tools to support our business objectives, with a particular focus on Microsoft 365 (approx. 60% of your time). By driving high adoption rates of Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions and other digital tools through comprehensive training and support, this position is pivotal in maximising the value these tools bring to Certis Belchim (CB).
The job involves implementing and promoting new Microsoft Modern Workplace features in collaboration with our ambassador team, striving to extract the maximum benefit from these tools for the organisation. By developing and encouraging application usage, especially within the modern workplace framework, this role significantly contributes to Certis Belchim’s digital transformation journey.
Your activities at a glance:
- Leading training and adoption: You are responsible for implementing the Microsoft 365 roadmap which contains training and ensuring effective adoption. This involves creating customised training sessions and maintaining a variety of training materials (manuals, videos, webinars, etc.), which are crucial for enhancing user proficiency and engagement.
- Increase ownership: You will own the entire Microsoft 365 roadmap, covering essential tools like SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Copilot. This breadth ensures you influence and improve multiple facets of collaboration and productivity.
- Integration with Power Platform: You’ll collaborate closely with Power platform experts to integrate and train on Power BI and Power Apps. This integration enhances the organisation’s data analytics capabilities and custom application development.
- Influence positively: Beyond implementation, you’ll promote new work methodologies and develop ways to increase user engagement and proficiency. Your approach ensures that Microsoft 365 applications are used optimally to meet business objectives.
- Governance and Support: Managing Microsoft 365 governance, providing guidance to Ambassadors, and supporting the IT Helpdesk with issue resolution demonstrates your role in ensuring smooth operations and user support across the platform.
- Continuous Improvement and Communication: By continuously evaluating business needs and organisational readiness, you’ll evolve adoption programs, maintain a dynamic Adoption Portal, and effectively communicate updates, new features, and best practices. This iterative process ensures optimal alignment with business objectives while maximizing the value derived from Microsoft 365.
- Insights and Collaboration: You’ll gather insights from the modern workplace ambassador group, fostering collaboration and ensuring that your strategies are grounded in real-world user experiences and needs.
Overall, this role uniquely combines technical expertise with role modelling, training, governance, and continuous improvement efforts to drive effective utilisation of Microsoft 365 and other tools across the organisation.

- 3-5 years of IT experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Fluency in English; knowing other European languages is a bonus
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- An energetic, self-starting personality with excellent presentation and inspiring teaching skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence at all levels
- A passion for Microsoft’s modern workplace solutions and driving impactful adoption programs
