About your team
As a key member of the global regulatory team, reporting to the Central Zone Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will collaborate both globally and locally with colleagues, including the Belgian technical and marketing teams. You will take the lead in proactively managing, executing, and ensuring the successful delivery of all product registration processes in Belgium and Luxembourg.
About your job
- Build and deepen expertise in local regulations and industry requirements, becoming a key player in shaping compliance strategies.
- Stay at the forefront of political and social developments that influence the industry, offering valuable insights to the team.
- Play a pivotal role in defining and driving the registration strategies for Certis Belchim’s portfolio in Belgium and Luxembourg, in close partnership with the Project Manager and Development Manager.
- Contribute to the creation of impactful regulatory dossiers, ensuring successful product registrations in Belgium and Luxembourg.
- Take on the respected position of regulatory expert for Certis Belchim Belgium-Luxembourg, offering leadership through regulatory monitoring, guidance, and training.
- Be the go-to person for suppliers, shareholders, technical institutes, and authorities on all regulatory matters, building strong relationships and fostering collaboration.
- Represent Certis Belchim by actively participating in professional association working groups like CropLife, IBMA, and others, influencing industry standards and practices.
- Lead the charge in producing and approving regulatory texts for MSDS, labels, and essential documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance across the board.
About you
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in agriculture, biology, chemistry, or a related field is your foundation for success.
- Bring 3-4 years of experience in a registration environment within the plant protection or agrobusiness industry.
- Familiarity with both local and EU regulatory rules and guidelines will help you excel in this role.
- A solid understanding of the roles and responsibilities of national authorities is key to navigating the regulatory landscape.
- Strong organizational and planning skills will support your ability to manage tasks effectively.
- Being a team player who thrives on collaboration is essential to achieving great results together.
- Excellent communication skills will help you connect with colleagues, authorities, and stakeholders.
