Effeeda (Fenquinotrione) registration progress

Following its submission for active substance approval in the EU in 2021, the herbicide Effeeda (Fenquinotrione) has now passed a new milestone on its journey towards registration with the submission of the active substance dossier to the regulatory authorities in Great Britain.  The active substance Fenquinotrione is being developed jointly by Kumiai and Certis Belchim in the European market and its new mode of action is expected to provide opportunities for resistance management strategies in cereal herbicide programmes that will bring high levels of performance and crop safety for growers.
