A new and significant force in crop protection, Certis Belchim B.V. combines the strengths of two well-established businesses with expertise in product development, registration and marketing and best-in-class technical and product knowledge.
With unique access to innovative technology in the crop protection sector from our Japanese shareholders, our own proprietary products and additional strategic suppliers, Certis Belchim has a leading pipeline and portfolio. We have strong foundations and an established footprint throughout Europe, dynamic and growing platforms in North America and expanding opportunities with partners in Africa, South America and Asia.
Our ambition
Our ambition is to provide integrated programmes, combining biological and chemical products, that meet the challenges of sustainable crop production and the demands of the value chain. By the transfer of technical product knowledge and crop expertise into practical advice in the field, enabled by our world-class trial stations, we support our customers to unlock maximum value for farmers. Building on our strength in specialty crops we shall continue to invest in understanding and addressing the challenges that these growers face, whilst further developing our portfolio of innovative products and extending our offer in broadacre crops.
Certis Belchim is part of Mitsui & Co. Ltd.’s Nutrition and Agriculture business unit and is underpinned by five strong Japanese shareholders: Mitsui AgriScience International S.A., Ishihara Sangyo Kaisha, Nippon Soda, Mitsui Chemicals Agro, Inc., and Kumiai Chemical.
